ADVANCED YOUTH TENNIS LEAGUE
This league is for Varsity and Jr Varsity High School tennis players only. Singles and/or doubles matches will be set up by Coach Steinmeyer each week. The program will occur after hours on Sunday evenings. Max enrollment 16 players (boys and girls)

JUNIOR CLINIC AND MATCH PLAY
This program provides skill development through instruction, drills, conditioning, use of the ball machine and match play. It is geared toward middle school and high school youth ages 11-18 who already have learned basic tennis skills and are considering playing tennis in high school. Youth under the age of 11 must be approved by the Tennis Director, John Steinmeyer at 761.9012.
Sessions: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April
Intermediate:
Session 1: Monday & Wednesday – 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Session 2: Monday & Wednesday – 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Advanced:
Session 1: Tuesday & Thursday – 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Fee: $70/month Y-member; $80/month Non-member
YOUTH TENNIS LESSONS
Students learn the basics of the game including forehand, backhand, serve, volley and scoring. These lessons are for beginners who are 5-12 years old. Participants must provide his or her own racquet.
Sessions: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April
Days/Times: Tuesday – 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Friday – 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PRIVATE TENNIS LESSONS
Individual instruction for all ages and skill levels available. Call John Steinmeyer at 761.9012.

SUMMER TENNIS
Are you new to tennis, an intermediate player with basic tennis knowledge or an advanced player looking to improve your game? With four levels of experience to choose from, the YMCA has a summer tennis program just for you!
SESSIONS: Session 1: tba; Session 2: tba (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
PLACE: Firley Y Multipurpose Courts, 525 Ellis Blvd.
LEVEL: Advanced – High school varsity or tournament players. Must be approved by our tennis instructors. 16 openings.
TIME: 9:30-11 a.m.
COST: $150/month Y-member; $175/month Non-member
LEVEL: Intermediate – High School and Middle School players who have basic
knowledge of shots, strategy and scoring. Must be approved by our tennis
instructors. 16 openings.
TIME: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
COST: $150/month Y-member; $175/month Non-member
LEVEL: Novice – 7th grade through High School who need help in all facets of the game.
12 openings.
TIME: 12:30-1:30 p.m.
COST: $125/month Y-member; $150/month Non-member
LEVEL: Beginner – 1st through 6th grade who need help in all facets of the game. 12 openings.
TIME: 1:30-2:30 p.m.
