The YMCA and Jefferson City Parks and Recreation have teamed up to offer Special Olympics Swimming! Special Athletes ages 8 and up can participate. Registration begins February 24 at Jefferson City Parks and Recreation. Practices will be held at Knowles YMCA. The Knowles Y is ADA accessible with a lift chair to help athletes access the pool, an elevator and family changing rooms. All athletes must be enrolled prior to participating.
