Aerobics Class Fees and Dates

Schedule is subject to change. Classes with fewer then 8 participants may be canceled. Some classes have equipment and space limitations. Canceled classes will be posted at the front desk. There will be make up classes or credits in the event of a cancellation.

Participants with special health concerns should inform the instructor before beginning the class.

Four methods of payment are available: Cash, Check, Credit Card, or Annual Bank Draft (Y-members only).

Aerobics Class Fees and Dates


Land Fitness Classes - FREE to members - $20/month for non-members

Beginning Step and Cardio - [Non-Members - Click Here to Register]
Level 1,2 aerobic and toning class will motivate and move you. Enhance your energy level and strengthen your core through basic aerobic, step moves and total body conditioning.
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday - 5:30-6:15 pm

Muscles 'n Motion - [Non-Members - Click Here to Register]
A 30 minute class targeting hip, glutes, thighs, abdominal and upper body muscles by using hand weights, resistance bands and stability ball.  A complete workout in just 30 minutes.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 12:15-12:45 pm

A 60 minute class of simple step choreography, strength training and floor exercises.  Class is focused on enhancing cardio and muscular endurance.  Come join this high energy class!  A great format for beginners and any fitness level.

Cardio Mix/Step - [Non-Members - Click Here to Register]
A class for morning people who want to work out while letting their children enjoy our nursery or just to get a good workout to start the day. This is a high energy class using steps, balls, etc. Get your heart rate up and burn calories while toning and having fun.

Basic Floor Fitness - [Non-Members - Click Here to Register]
Lunch time class of basic floor step exercises and strength elements. Class targets major muscle groups within a cardio segment. A great way to get a quick workout in, and gain energy for the rest of your day.

Incorporating a variety of equipment including the contemporary BOSU balance trainer and traditional free-weights, this late afternoon class will give you a total body workout!  A great blend of cardio and strength elements, for all fitness levels.

Fit X-Press (Beginning in September) - [Non-Members - Click Here to Register]
For the fitness enthusiast on the GO! Each class targets only a few muscle groups, at low impact, allowing you to jump right back into your day after a 30 minute burn, without having to hit the showers!Great addition to your weekly routine that won’t disrupt your schedule – and free to members!

Hard Core - [Click Here to Register]
Tone your core center and abdominal area! This 30-minute workout focuses on strengthening your body’s mid-section, front to back. A strong torso is necessary for quality of life and prevention of injuries. This class is a blend of abdominal and back exercises that utilizes stability balls and various floor work routines. Add this class to complete your fitness routine, or as a stand alone program for a Hard “Core!”

Ropes & Reps [Click Here to Register]
A great blend of Punk Rope and traditional ropes and strength. Founder, Tim Haft, describes Punk Rope as “a playful mash-up of recess and boot camp, which combines creative calisthenics, group conditioning drills, and rope jumping with raise-the-roof music and insanely fun themes.” Ropes will be a blend of traditional rope and skills learned in punk rope with fun strength elements.

We’ve combined the elements of our kick boxing classes with new equipment and techniques in a cross training format. This class includes traditional boxing elements, strength with kettle bells, versa bars, BOSU and more. This workout will enhance muscle tone, sculpt, cardiovascular endurance and mental focus. A fun cardiovascular warm-up prepares you for an ultimate body-sculpting workout. Participants will use hand weights, resistance bands, and the exercise ball. Class concludes with relaxation stretches. Instruction provided by Janet Bloemke and other instructors of MOTIVATIONS – BODY…MIND…SPIRIT.

All State employees have the opportunity to take advantage of the aerobic group exercise classes at one of two convenient locations. Class sizes are limited, so sign up early! Schedules are available at either YMCA front desk. State Employment I.D. required.
