Football – PAL League 2024

Registration for 5th and 6th grade PAL tackle football will open May 1st 2024. Parents are encouraged to register their child(ren) in advance of the equipment checkout dates. Register at any of our three YMCA facilities Firley Y-525 Ellis Blvd., Knowles Y-424 Stadium, Hartsfield Y-3507 Amazonas. Football Registration Form – bring this form with you. Forms are also available at each facility. Registration fee of $150 is due at the time of registration.

A $150 dollar deposit and physical is due at the equipment fitting days. Those days are July 15 and July 17. A makeup day will be held on July 22. These will be held from 3-6 p.m. at the Hartsfield Y at 3507 Amazonas.

5th and 6th Grade Tackle Football
If your child is entering 5th or 6th grade and planning to attend Helias Catholic High School, this league is for you.

Equipment Checkout Dates:
5th and 6th Grade:
Dates/Time: July 15 from 3-6 p.m. for anyone pre-registered.
July 17 – 3-6 p.m. for those who couldn’t make July 17 and those not pre-registered.
Location: Hartsfield YMCA – 3507 Amazonas (Parent & child should attend for fitting.)

Make-Up for both age groups:
Date/Time: July 22, 2024 – 3-6 p.m.
Location: Hartsfield YMCA – 3507 Amazonas (Parent & child should attend for fitting.)

Fee: $150/child, plus $150 deposit

Additional Football Information:

  • Equipment included: League fees will include shoulder pads, pants, pant pads, practice jersey, helmet and game jersey.
  • Equipment not included: Parents are responsible for providing the mouth piece and football shoes.
  • Physical: Must have a copy from a physician that the child has had a physical within the last calendar year.
